The Light, The Darkness, and the Balance Between the Two
- Let's Open our Mesas together and feel the magic of our collective dreaming as we sing our song of Life, Love, Joy and Laughter.
Coming together reminds us we're not alone as we're all on this Earth together facing similar joys and challenges through the cycle of the years.
The Solstices and Equinoxes are a time to gather, lifting us out of our busy lives, breaking the cycle of busy minds and stepping into joy. It's a time to laugh, heal, and exchange ideas.
Father Sun peaks with the Solstices. It is the great cosmic clock of the waxing and waning of the Sun's cycle. Winter Solstice to Summer Solstice the Sun is waxing, reaching its lightest peak at the Summer Solstice, the longest day and shortest night. From Summer Solstice to Winter Solstice the Sun is waning and reaching its darkest peak at the shortest day of the year and the longest night.
During the waxing phase of the Sun we are in our outer-self; increasing light, expressing our own identity and uniqueness. We expand outward, becoming more individual and independent.
During the waning phase of the Sun we are in our inner-self; expanding inward, reflecting, becoming more intuitive, and tapping into our inner wisdom.
Then there is the EQUINOX... where day and night are of equal lengths all over the world. The focus is the balance of light and dark - the outer-self and the inner-self are both equal. WOW!

The fall equinox is a powerful moment of balance in nature. It's the time when day and night are equal in length, symbolizing harmony and equilibrium. Spiritually, the energy of the fall equinox is often associated with reflection, gratitude, and the transition from the active warmth of summer to the quieter, introspective season of autumn.
This is a great time to:
- Practice mindfulness and grounding techniques to align with the balanced energy.
- Reflect on the growth and lessons of the year, celebrating accomplishments and embracing changes.
- Honor the cycles of nature by releasing what no longer serves you and setting intentions for the coming season.

We come together to in community of sacred Mesa carriers ~ Weavers of the Light. We come together to breath, be, heal, laugh, open, cook, and clean together.
